COLUMBUS, OH — High Bank Distillery Co., the award-winning Ohio-based craft distillery known for its bold spirits and dedication to innovation, is proud to announce the release of its Whiskey War Barrel Select Batch #28 - Jamaican Rum Cask.
This Barrel Select series is born from the love of creating unique and uncompromised products for people to enjoy. High Bank’s distillery team has taken that exact approach when selecting unique and high-end barrels to second age (and sometimes third) their whiskey in. This is creativity at its finest.
This Jamaican Rum Cask single barrel is the classic Whiskey War Barrel Proof, aged in an American Oak Barrel, that was then shipped to Jamaica, housed rum for five years, then emptied. After that journey, the barrel was shipped to High Bank, to aged Whiskey War Barrel Proof for an additional 10 months.

Classic Whiskey War Barrel Proof aged for 10 months in an American Oak barrel that previously aged Jamaican Rum.
Tasting Notes: Banana foster, vanilla water and molasses on the nose, followed by notes of candied grape and pineapple, sugar cookie on the tongue, finishing with hints of leather and oak.
All bottles will go on sale on Saturday, August 16th at 10AM. In-person purchases only at High Bank’s retail shops in Grandview, Gahanna and Westerville.
