COLUMBUS, OH — Two is better than one, especially when it comes to barrels of whiskey.
High Bank Distillery is turning up the romance this Valentine’s Day with the release of Whiskey War Barrel Select Double Double Oaked Cabernet, a limited Barrel Select whiskey dubbed “The Love Cab.” This release is a blend of two barrels - Whiskey War Double Oaked aged in a French Oak Cabernet cask and Whiskey War Double Double Oaked aged in a French Oak Cabernet cask.
Crafted as “a story of two cabernet-finished whiskeys and their chance encounter,” this special release brings together two individually double-aged whiskeys, each finished in French oak Cabernet Sauvignon casks, then expertly blended by the High Bank Distillery team. The result is a rich, expressive whiskey that proves some things truly are better together.

Our signature Whiskey War Double Oaked aged in a French Oak Cabernet cask blended with Whiskey War Double Double Oaked aged in a French Oak Cabernet cask. Total age statement of 7.5 years.
Tasting Notes: Strawberry shortcake, oak and caramel on the nose, followed by oak, spiced cherry cola, vanilla custard and raisin on the palate, with a powdered cocoa, clove and peppercorn finish.
This Barrel Select will be available in limited quantities at High Bank Distillery Co. locations (Grandview, Gahanna, Westerville) starting Friday, February 13th at 11AM.
