THE BEST BLENDED WHISKEY IN AMERICA, 3 YEARS IN A ROW (AND IN THE RUNNING AGAIN FOR 2025).

WHY WHISKEY WAR?

Prohibition is said to have started just 12 miles from our High Bank facility, in Westerville, Ohio. In 1875, Henry Corbin took a chance and opened a saloon in an area known to strongly oppose the consumption of distilled spirits. Not once, but twice, the saloon was blown up. It was said before the first explosion, Henry came outside to address the protesters with two pistols drawn. That single act is believed to have ignited the Whiskey Wars of prohibition and launched the Anti-Saloon League. Unique batches inside our expertly blended whiskey wage war with each other and your taste buds come out the victor.

TRUST THE PROCESS

Adam Hines, our Co-Founder and Master Distiller/Blender, meticulously crafted Whiskey War by evaluating over 100 mash bills from nearly 50 distilleries. His focus was threefold:

  1. Availability: Could the mash bill be reliably sourced and scaled?

  2. Cost: Could it create an approachable, affordable product?

  3. Taste: Above all, does it deliver exceptional flavor?

Originally intended as a temporary blend until our own distillate was ready, Whiskey War quickly became a sensation. In just three short years after launching, it achieved an unprecedented feat, winning Best Blended Whiskey in America at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2021, 2022, and 2023—a first in the history of this prestigious global competition.

Whiskey War is a masterful blend of three distinct mash bills—one high-rye and two bourbons—sourced from MGP in Indiana and expertly blended in 300-gallon batches.
