HIGH BANK AWARDED THE MOST DOUBLE GOLDS IN AMERICA AT THE WORLD’S LARGEST SPIRITS COMPETITION
COLUMBUS, OH — High Bank Distillery Co. was awarded the most double golds in America, and second most in the world, at this year’s San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is known as one of the most influential and respected spirits competition in the world, judging spirits across 100 different categories. It is the 2nd oldest and largest spirits competition in the world, including over 6,000 entries across the world, and is considered the "industry standard" of what's what in alcoholic beverages. High Bank’s Whiskey War Barrel Proof won Best Blended Whiskey in America for two years in a row in 2021 and 2022.
The SFWSC judging process consisted of 70 judges. These industry professionals try hundreds of spirits per category. If a spirit receives a high score, it is awarded a gold. These winning spirits are tasted again. If a spirit is receives multiple high scores it is then awarded a double gold.

We started submitting our spirits to this prestigious competition in 2021 and 2022 . To come away with the Best Blended Whiskey In America back to back these two years was almost unbelievable. We were excited to submit again this year, to see if we could continue to receive top awards.
It is an honor to be awarded 6 double golds. This means we are the top awarded distillery for double golds in the United States, as well as second in the world. Our team and products are making waves and showing the spirits industry across the world that Ohio is an amazing hub for distilleries.
